Adult Advocacy Program
Advocates provide advocacy and support services for adults who are affected by domestic violence and assault.
We will help you:
- Develop a safety plan
- Locate emergency shelter
- Obtain a restraining order
- Navigate through legal issues
- Find other services in the community
We provide a supportive, confidential, and safe environment.
Our advocates help you build skills to transition into long-term recovery:
- Goal setting
- Housing and education
- Coordination of services with other community agencies
- Financial concerns and employment
- Transportation
- Cultural and social barriers
- Special needs
- Issues relating to children
W.I.S.E. (Women In Search of Empowerment)
W.I.S.E. is an adult education and support group for women who share life experiences as they relate to abuse.
General domestic abuse information, facilitated discussion, and participant concerns are addressed each session.
