Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteers are the key to the success of our programs. We are very grateful for their support, dedication, time, and talents that they provide to our agency to better serve families through our services and preventative education. Volunteers are not paid - not because they are worthless, but because they are priceless.
Volunteer Opportunities
Catering
Prepare food for meetings and events
Community Outreach
Collect donations, promotion/community advertisement, volunteer recruitment
Direct Victim Services (training required)
Attend court hearings with participants
Provide information on divorce, child placement, and mediation
Assist participants in transition
Drive participants to appointments
Housekeeping
Vacuum, dust, clean toys, garbage and organize office areas
Interpreter
Translate materials– brochures, handouts, etc.
Emergency translation for direct victim services
Office Work
Filing, copying, mailings, shredding and collate files
Receptionist
Direct phone calls, take messages, schedule appointments and greet participants for appointments
Safe Spaces
Provide foster home/care for pets and farm animals affected by domestic violence
Special Events
Assisting with preparation, decoration, and tear-down of fundraising events or community awareness
Technical Support
Repair office equipment and update website
